In 2006/2007 academic year Vilnius Cooperative College began intensive work in developing and implementing its quality management system according to international standards.

On August 18, 2008 Vilnius Co-operative non-university higher education college study services were certified by the Finnish representative in Lithuania UAB DET NORSKEVERITAS, and recognized as corresponding to management system standard ISO 9001:2000. Certificate Number 31257-2008-AQ-FIN-FINAS.

The clients of Vilnius Cooperative College are college students, graduates, course participants, future students, Lithuanian and foreign partners, the college staff, employers and other social partners. Therefore, the internal quality management system allows for effective planning and implementation of quality assurance, encourages sharing responsibility, developing the culture of the organization and mobilizing everyone for the improvement of the quality of studies. All this is reflected in the quality policy of the college.

ISO 9001 certificate proves that the internal quality management system is certified according to the best practice standards and found compliant. The quality assessment system developed in the college enables proper functioning of quality management system and ensures that the necessary internal processes introduced help to fulfill its obligations to customers and reduce the risk of not implementing their expectations.
